Soil Preparation at Longshan Winery
Guided by Chief Viticulturist Sam Zhu, guests moved to the Longshan Winery's vineyard for a standardized planting demonstration. From precise digging and scientific fertilization to standardized planting, every step reflected professional craftsmanship. A special [Chardonnay VIP Demonstration Vineyard] was set up, where vines planted by guests will be permanently preserved as milestones in the winery's development.
From blueprint to fertile land, the Longshan Winery project embodies the wisdom and dedication of multiple stakeholders. Longshan Winery (Qingdao Longshan Wine Co., Ltd.) was established in December 2021 in Yuanshang Town, Qingdao, specializing in high-quality white wine production. Owns 17 hectares of premium vineyards.
Terroir & Vineyards
The Longshan vineyard's region enjoys a mild climate, abundant sunlight, and terraced planting zones with scientifically designed soil drainage, providing an ideal environment for white grape varieties. The winery has planned 12 planting blocks and 5-tier terraces to ensure each vine absorbs ample sunlight, fully expressing the terroir's characteristics.
Selected White Grape Varieties
Longshan Winery focuses on high-quality white grape varieties. In addition to classic Chardonnay, it has introduced internationally renowned and disease-resistant varieties such as Albariño, Gros Manseng, Colombard, and Floreal, aiming to create diverse white wine styles.
Longshan Winery collaborates with Chateau Nine Peaks to promote Yuanshang Town as an emerging wine tourism destination. Moving forward, it will continue optimizing viticultural techniques and exploring blending innovations, delivering wines that combine international standards with local distinctiveness for Chinese consumers.
