C9P in the 4th China Wine Summit 2021

From May 15 to 16, 2021, C9P participated the 4th China Wine Summit 2021 in Shanghai.

At this summit, more than 1,000 important distributors, retailers, catering and hotel industry professionals and wine enthusiasts in the Chinese wine industry have tasted the wines from most of outstanding Chinese wineries in various major producing regions in China through the "China Wine Summit Exhibition". More than 220 VIPs participated the master classes focusing on commenting on Chinese wines, and more than 160 Chinese winery owners, winemakers and Chinese wine industry professionals attended the summit forum to discuss the current situation and the future of Chinese wines in depth. In addition, 97 wine industry professionals participated in the award ceremony dinner. The two-day summit event received more than 2500 people. (Data source: Taste Spirit)

On May 15th, C9P prepared a full range of latest vintage wines to share and exchange with the coming wine professionals & wine lovers from all over the country.

Tao is C9P's upcoming new semi-dry rosé wine, which has won the popularity on site with its slight sweet and fresh taste, lively and cute appearance.

C9P also prepared 4 new wines that have not yet been released:C9P Tao semi-dry Rose 2020,  C9P Qi Red 2019 and 2 single variety collection wines: Cabernet Franc 2019 and Petit Verdot 2019. All these new wines have been well praised at the scene, looking forward to be released soon.

On May 15, the master class of "China Wine Summit Three Wine Varieties Comparative Tasting" was hosted by master Ian D'Agata, a world-renowned wine critic, editor-in-chief of Terroir Sense and chief scientist of Taste Spirit. Ian chose Cabernet Gernischt 2019 from C9P to compare with other Cabernet Gernischt and Carmenere wines from other regions to feel the different wine characters from the different areas and different terroirs.

On May 16, DUAN Changqing, chief scientist of the National Grape Industry Technology System, LI Demei, director of the Department of Winemaking Engineering of the School of Food Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Agriculture and Ian Dagata co-hosted the master class [Chinese Wine Review Seminar]. They jointly discussed and guided the tasting of C9P's Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, and commented the characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon from Qingdao, Shandong.

On the afternoon of May 16, the theme forum of this China Wine Summit, Hao Linhai, chairman of the Ningxia Helan Mountain East Foot Wine and Wine Federation, Wang Zuming, deputy secretary-general of the China Liquor Circulation Association, and three wine experts Ian D'Agata, Duan Changqing, and Li Demei all shared the wonderful lectures.

The world-renowned wine writer Jacky Rigaux and the world best sommelier Paolo Basso also discussed the importance of respecting terroir in the production of high-quality wine through video lectures at the summit.

C9P's Cabernet Gernischt 2019 new wine, although it did not sign up for this summit competition, it was still favored by Ian D'Agata, who not only brought it into the master class, but also rated it a high score of 93/100. In Ian's view, "the three outstanding wine grapes in China are undoubtedly Cabernet Gernischt, Marselan and Petit Manseng. Chinese wines made with Cabernet Franc, Riesling, Vidal (including late harvest wine and ice wine) and Italian Riesling are also Very promising."
