C9P CG in Ian D'Agata's Top World Wines
Earlier this year, the world-renowned wine critic Ian D'Agata released his Top World Wines 2021. From the 2018 Château Margaux, which ranks first on the list with a perfect score of 100, to the 90-point dry white from a Cote du Rhone winery in southern France, there are a total of 163 wines from all over the world in the entire list, and each wine is scored and recorded with Ian's very sincere tasting notes. In addition, it is refreshing that there are 13 local wines from China's major producing areas (Yunnan, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Ningxia, Beijing and Xinjiang) in this year's list, among which Chateau Nine Peaks Cabernet Gernischt 2019 is also selected by Ian Dagata to be included in the list with the score of 93/100.

JS's tasting notes: Racy red and black berries here. Some thyme, savory herbs and spices add freshness and allure. Juicy, fresh and just medium-bodied with sweet fruit and firm, granular tannins. There is a fresh, restrained capsicum note at the end, complementing the fruit and spiciness. Honest and drinkable now.
