On June 15th, 2019, a lunch event hosted by Bailliage de Qingdao，Chaine Des Rotisseurs，
Association Mondiale de la Gastronomie, is held at Chateau Nine Peaks in Qingdao of China.
 

 
On the day of the event, Mr. Carl Duggan and Mr. Adam Haywood organize together the team of around 14-member food
and wine lovers set off from Qingdao and embarked on a 1.5-hour trip to the winery of Chateau Nine Peaks which is
nestled in the lush vines and the back drop of the 9 Peaks Mountains.
 

 
The journey begins from the Hotel of Hyatt Regency by coach, upon arrival the guests will be explore the winery of Chateau Nine Peaks
with a guided tour to the cellar followed by a pre-lunch cocktail in the courtyard followed by tasting all of the beautiful wines
complemented with a creative menu in the main dining room.

The Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMGD) is a specific section of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs' which specializes in and concentrates on wines, spirits,
liqueurs and crafted beverages. It was founded in Paris on 2nd September 1963 and is an integral part of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.
Its goal is to promote the enjoyment, appreciation and knowledge of fine wines, quality spirits, beers and mineral waters from around the world.

As the main organizers of this lunch event, Mr. Carl Duggan and Mr. Haywood,
both of them are the general managers of the famous international hotels in Qingdao with years of the management experience.

It is understood that they have been looking for the ideal event address since April this year. After many location visits,
they finally selected Chateau Nine Peaks. During the whole organization process of the event,
both of them discussed the menu with the chef and colleagues of Chateau Nine Peaks’ Food and Beverage Department,
and tasted the wines and dishes on the spot in order to offer the best dining experience for the coming guests.

During the whole event, Italian winemaker of Chateau Nine Peaks,
Denise personally guided a winery tour for the guests and introduced wines from Chateau Nine Peaks during the lunch.
From the vineyard to the wine ageing, and to the tasting, Denise has brought the guests to the ultimate dining experience.
